Quality Assurance

At HTR we are convinced that quality of a product can only be assured in its true sense if “QUALITY IS BUILT IN AT SOURCE”. Towards this goal we have established the HTR reliability testing facility, which can carry out the following tests as per JSS / IEC / MIL & JIS specifications and also carry out certain key qualitative tests on essential raw materials.

Selected electrical and environmental tests are performed from samples drawn at random from each batch.

Certification
|
If a customer desires that a certain electrical test should be carried out on a sample basis from his batch, this service and test report to that effect can be provided at an extra chargeable basis.

Marking
|
The standard followed at HTR for marking of resistance value and tolerance is as per DIN / IEC pub 600 62. For only OA/OP/OF series marking is as per HTR specification.

Support Facilities
To enable HTR reliability testing facility to carry out it’s mandate of checking key raw materials and reliability testing of resistors, the company has installed the following equipment:
- Precision digital resistance unit.
- Standard resistors for calibration (0.01% and 0.02% accuracy).
- High voltage breakdown (flash) tester.
- Digital insulation tester (Measurement range 1MΩ to 999GΩ).
- Short time overload tester (up to 10 times rated power for 5 seconds).
- High voltage / High current pulse tester.
- Inductance tester.
- TCR tester – Temperature accuracy ± 1°C Resistance accuracy ± 0.1%.
- Life tester with programmable power supply console and temperature range of -55°C to +210°C
- Environment chamber – humidity range 40% to 95% RH ± 3%, temperature range 10°C to 60°C ± 1°C
- High temperature chamber – upto 250°C with accuracy ± 1°C
- Robustness of terminations tester.
- Plating test unit.
- Pulse tests as per IEC-61000-4-5.
- Solderability test unit.
(All equipment accuracies are calibrated on standards which are traceable to nationally recognized standards)
